Description:
Ranch in central New Mexico looking for self starter, for summer job. May 1 ,2025 to August 8, 2025. Duties would include, caring for 200 head cow/ calf operation. Feeding, distributing supplement, tubs, and mineral blocks, maintaining watering facilities, maintenance of fencing, repairs as needed. Care taking of entire ranch while owner out of town. Moving cattle horseback as needed. Housing includes separate furnished house with pens. Hay and pasture for up-to two horses. Branding using calf table. Being able to operate bobcat, lift at least 50#s, ride horseback. Speak English, valid drivers license, pass background check, live in remote area. Ranch is 6,600 feet elevation in piņon/cedar country. Dogs allowed with restrictions. Pickup and trailer furnished for on ranch use. May consider longer term.
