Description:

Vaquillas Cattle Co. located in Aguilares, Texas has an opening for a Ranch Maintenance/Feed Truck Driver Position.



This position is for someone that is a skilled mechanic/maintenance to serve as support to our ranching needs including but not limited to operating machinery, maintenance & repair of property, equipment, fences and facilities. Also drive a feed truck and help with cattle working.



This position you will report to the General Manager



Meeting with GM on routine basis for jobs/projects

Keeping up with routine maintenance on equipment: trucks, trailers, tractors, and other heavy machinery

Operate heavy machinery as needed

Operate feed truck

Perform routine ranch maintenance such as building fence, repair water lines, welding or plumbing issues

Perform routine maintenance on ranch equipment, oil changes, battery checks, lubricating all equipment parts

Capability to identify and diagnose malfunctions on all equipment

Repair and if needed replace malfunctioning components, parts and other mechanical/electrical equipment

Maintain all maintenance records

Be adaptable to an irregular work schedule, to possibly include evenings, weekends & holidays



Qualifications:

Must have a valid driver’s license
