Description:
Beautiful, gentle all around 11-year-old bay roan mare. Penny has been my daughters go to horse for the last 3 years. We absolutely love Penny. We use her in junior rodeo events such as poles, goat tying and barrels. She has basically taught our youngest to ride and is wonderful with children and anyone who is a beginner or wants to learn. Penny grew up ranching, ranch rodeoing and working at the sale barn. She sorts cattle like a dream and will hold your calves while you doctor. She is big barreled with a big Quarterhorse butt and moves extremely well. Does not spook at anything, great with the farrier, jumps right in your trailer, easy to catch and will ride out by herself with ease. She is pastured with other horses and has absolutely no mare tendencies, never even heard her whinny. She has never squealed and has an even temperament like a gelding. We hate to see her go. The only reason for selling is our daughter does not have the time to ride (club sports), and so she needs to go teach someone else. Use her on the ranch, junior rodeo, trail ride, lessons or ranch rodeo. Located in Dewey, AZ. 14.3HH. No Maintenance.
