Louis is everything anyone could want and more! This gelding has the most heart and want to please then anything! He will never quit you and does anything and more of what he is asked for. Louis 14 years old, stands 15.1hh tall and weighs 1300lbs. He is put together correct and always looks outstanding. He has a gorgeous mane and very thick tail. Louis is very easy to handle, stands for everything from shoeing to saddling. Louis is an absolute DREAM to trail ride, jumps right into the water like a fish! He loads like a dream and hauls good with other horses and cattle. He stays turned out with 4 other geldings and a mini pony, gets along good with mares as well and does fine in a stall. He does great tied to the trailer and takes in all the sights and noises of new places. We have used him as our back up and he handled every run like a pro. On the head side, you couldn’t ask for a more versatile gelding. He has been rode by everyone from a #8 to a #3 and adjust to every single different roper. Louis has an outstanding move on and faces quick and snappy. He has a pretty show horse run/move with the rodeo horse quickness. He stays very light in the face and a pro in the box. We have breakawayed some on him as well. Louis is pretty enough, and classy enough to go to the show pen as well and would be great at that as well. Louis came out of the north, Canada, and is strong and athletic. We couldn’t ask for a more perfect horse and it has been a very hard decision to part with him.
