Because of severe drought for the last two years we are forced to sell another herd of cattle. This herd is approximately 90 head of registered category 3 Red Angus. They run in age from late 2s/coming 3 yr old bred heifers all the way up to coming 7 yr old cows, nothing older. They started calving Feb 20. Would like to sell the whole Herd at 10% discount or would split into groups. Have these cattle priced cheap at a little over commercial price, and these are all registered bred to A1 registered Bulls so all calves will be registered. We have sold a lot of bulls and replacement heifers from this herd. They will make you a lot of money if you have grass and RAIN!!! Group 1 and group 2 are the heavy breds, approximately 50 head. These are calving now. Very concerned about the heavy springers and new babies, so anything that is bagged up and in danger of calving on the truck we will hold and sell as pairs when the calves are old enough to travel safely. Also pairs being shipped will have to have calves old enough to ship safely. All calves have been weighed and tagged with their dam’s number so you can follow through with registration. As of March 7th 16 cows have already calved. Group 1 - pairs $4000 each take all $4500 each take your pick of 10 or more Group 2 - heavy springers $3500 each take all $4000 each take you pick of 10 or more Group 3, spring calvers, can ship now - approximately 18 head. These are the cattle that were preg checked 1st trimester last fall. Group 3 - spring calvers $3250 each take all $3750 each take you pick of 10 or more Group 4, fall calvers, can ship after preg check - approximately 22 head, still with the bulls. Group 4 - fall calvers $3000 each take all $3500 each take your pick of 10 or more I can send people a list of ID numbers (prefix CRCK)of all the cows and bred heifers in this herd to look up their pedigrees and info on the Red Angus website. The bulls that were used on these cows are all A1 registered so all calves will be registered category 3s or category 2s. Will get pictures this coming week. Also, we have 10 head of A1 Registered 9 and 10 yr old red angus cows for sale as a separate group. We would definitely be keeping these if we had grass and RAIN! Two of these cows are daughters of Ft Worth Grand Champion bull Sakic Impressive. All bred to really nice A1 bulls, all calves can be registered A1. Two of these cows calved already. $2750 each for all 10 including the pairs. I can send people a list of ID numbers of the cows and the bulls they are bred to.
