Description:
Hidden Valley, privately owned 60-acre Horse Ranch, located in the Santa Monica Mountains, is seeking a dependable ranch hand who is passionate about the care, health, anddevelopment of horses and who is interested in living onsite.



Primary Responsibilities:

• Feeding

• Grooming

• Health Monitoring

• Training

• Care and exercise of horses.

• Arena Maintenance

• Veterinary Assistance

• Fencing Maintenance

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of barns, stables, and surrounding grounds.

• Trail Riding



Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of caring for equines.

• Knowledge of safe work practices around horses and other livestock.

• Knowledge of basic equine first aid.

• Experience in monitoring animal appearance/behavior and communicating any

necessary information to superiors.

• Ability to load and drive a Trailor

• Self-motivated and a self-starter.

• Strong commitment to teamwork

• Ability to adhere to the organization’s policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Flexibility in work schedule.

• Physical fitness and endurance for long days outdoors.

• Fluent English is mandatory / Spanish speaking is a +

• Ability to work legally in the United States.
