Idaho Shag x Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies. 1 female available, all are tri color. I meticulously chose this stud to compliment my idaho shag dam as I wanted a good working dog. The idaho shag breed is such a unique experience and I hand picked this stud to compliment this breed and the dam. The dam is a good companion dog with drive, athleticism, trainability, and intelligence - she is a house dog one day and go tree a raccoon the next. She will go through any obstacle you tell her- swim, jump, climb, crawl. She is truly happiest to be out working- she rides miles with my horses and she wants to take direction and is attentive to you. Limited cattle exposure due to lack of resources (cattle) but will work pretty much anything you ask her to and has the off switch to coexist when the job is done. The stud, a miniature Australian shepherd is owned by a DVM who does have cattle and acreage. He spends his time monitoring the property or checking the perimeter with his owner. He is seasoned on working cattle. On a cooler Texas morning, he enjoys hunting rabbits. When his owner is working, he goes along. He will sit in the office all day without any resistance. Both parents are top notch dogs but have an off switch, unlike your typical border collie. They are more intelligent and willing than your blue heeler and they are less of a liability too. These dogs want to mind and are intelligent, athletic, aggressive, and have an off switch. You truly will not get a better all around ranch dog than this cross. Taylor, TX, and I travel to the Houston area on Sundays.



Pups have had exams from multiple licensed DVMs and are in good health, negative fecals, been dewormed (pyrantle), and come with a month of simparica trio.
