Ranch hand-

searching for a dedicated, hard working, reliable, honest individual to perform all aspects of ranching. These include but not limited to irrigating, haying, moving cattle around, calving, doctoring, maintaining vehicles and equipment, mechanics and building upkeep. Must be able to manage time wisely, take good direction, work by yourself and with others. Salary will be based on years of experience. A nice home with all utilities paid is included. This is a working cow/calf operation of around 1500 pairs. Ranch mechanic-

Qualifications: Experience in carpentry, welding, electrical, plumbing. Use of Ranch equipment for haying, pasture, and road maintenance (dozer, backhoe, grader, track hoe, wheel loader, dump truck, tractors). Maintenance on heavy diesel and gas vehicles as needed along with atv’s. Records of maintenance on all vehicles is required. Organizational skills and the ability to work alone and with other employees is a must.



Objective: Keep equipment and buildings in good repair. Ability to do basic plumbing and electrical repairs. Report equipment replacement needs and anticipate repairs that would require a specialist to keep all equipment in good running condition. Keep good equipment maintenance schedules. Keep the Ranch Manager informed of any necessary needs of the maintenance on a daily or at least weekly basis.



Position reports directly to the Ranch Manager. Salary compensation will be depending on qualification and people skills —and includes housing, utilities, use of Ranch vehicles and ATVs for work.
