Description:
Multigenerational Nebraska ranching family.

We operate a Cow/calf, feedlot and horse program. We raise and use horses to operate day to day. We are looking for a ranch hand who can help in all the aspects of daily ranching but can also start approximately 15 - 2 yrs olds a year, put rides on the 3yr olds and help with the weanling and yearling colts, halter breaking, ground work etc. Horsemanship is a priority and will need to provide at least 2 references that will be contacted about horsemanship/ ability.



We require a valid driver’s license, clean background check, and no prior serious issues with hard drugs or alcohol.

We provide housing, utilities (except phone/tv), a work vehicle, 1 meal/day, yearly beef and completive salary. We use all modern equipment.

Ranch duties include but not limited to:

Calving (April/May)

Branding, weaning, doctoring

Fencing, haying, general ranch maintenance.

Potential to bring a few personal

Horses.

We are family friendly and are located 15 miles from the biggest town (Ogallala,Ne) that has Walmart and Safeway. Lots of great choices for schools as well.
