I have been operating my own horseshoeing business in Montana for 50 years. I am looking to sell my client list, equipment, and knowledge to an interested buyer. I have a strong rapport with several ranches in Montana and Idaho and largely focus on large herds. I shoe using a table to help facilitate a timely process. I am looking for a prospective buyer who is interested in apprenticing with me for a season to learn the clients, the business, etc. It is important to me to hand off the business to an individual who loves the job. The job requires travel primarily on the western side of Montana, largely in the southwest corner. I have some business outside of Salmon as well. The season largely runs May-November. There is scattered opportunities to shoe throughout the year. There is significant opportunity for this business to grow.
