Small goat ranch seeking summer ranch hand.



We are located in central Utah.



I run 260 nannies, and am seeking someone to help manage and run my herd over the summer. I work full time and have a young family. I am hoping to have someone for three months, from approximately mid-April through Mid-July. I can be flexible on which months you would come.



Job responsibilities will include:



-Helping the herd with kidding.

-Hauling the herd to new pastures.

-Daily feeding of livestock.

-Herding the goats.

-Riding horses to check the herd and check grazing conditions.

-Building electric fence.

-Using herding dogs for moving the goats.

-Moving wheelines on farm land.

-Riding and training horses if interested.



Paying $2,000 per month. Housing included. I have a small studio type cabin available. I can accommodate a horse or two if you want to bring them.



Work would be approximately 40 hours a week, 5 days a week, but with feeding animals at the beginning and end of the day on some days off.
