Description:
Seeking ranch hand to join our team. We are a large cow-calf operation in southeast Wyoming who takes pride in the quality of cattle, equipment, and facilities. Must be self-motivated, honest, and hardworking. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Valid driver’s license required. Work at times may be alone or with our team.



Duties include but not limited to:



*Irrigating with 4 wheelers, cleaning ditches, setting dams, removing beaver dams



*Haying using heavy equipment



*Branding, gathering, sorting, and shipping of cattle using horses



*Fence maintenance, repair, and construction



*Basic welding and mechanic abilities (changing oil, fixing tractor tires, and equipment maintenance) 



*Maintenance of ranch buildings and equipment (we like it tidy and clean around ranch, ranch house MUST be kept clean)



*Feeding of cattle and horses in the winter months using tractors



*This is NOT just a riding position; it is an ALL-AROUND RANCH JOB!



*Personal horses and dogs are welcome if agreed upon before hiring (Dogs must be watched at all times and not left to chase cattle, horses, or wildlife around ranch)



*If you have a temper, alcohol or drug problems, or are abusive no need to apply



*We are not in a hurry to hire the wrong person, so willing to wait for the right person



Nearest towns are approximately 30 miles away, no dirt road driving, conveniently located off paved highway.



Small fully furnished two-bedroom one bath house provided. Workers’ Compensation provided along with beef meat, all utilities, internet, satellite Tv and employer match IRA after one year work. Salary DOE.
