It was no accident why Keystone became a WORLD CHAMPION, his sire, COCHISE WAR STAR, a grandson of STAR DUDE SNIP, by BAR STAR SNIP, had an ROM and Superior in Open Cutting, and 114 AQHA points. He is out of a daughter of SAN PEPPY TARI, a grandson of PEPPY SAN BADGER, AQHA Hall Of Famer, LTE $172,710, and offspring earnings of over $25 million. His pedigree is packed with winners top to bottom in every single discipline. Keystone is what the American Paint Horse Association envisioned when they established. Elegance, poise, cleverness, sophistication, and intelligence are all things he possesses. Now are you ready to hear about his resume? Take a deep seat… Keystone has been shown in the APHA, PtHA, and Open All-Breed shows at the local, Congress, and World Show level. He has won World Champion, Top 5, and Top 10 titles at the APHA World Show. He’s competed in ranch riding, ranch rail, ranch conformation, and ranch trail classes. If we asked him to, he would cross a bridge with his eyes closed, back through a maze, and cross over logs blindfolded. He carries himself with cadence that can’t be trained into one. They’ve either got it, or they don’t…most will never have the natural balance, rhythm, and poise Keystone has. The best part about him, you don’t have to be a full time trainer to operate him. He stays tuned up with very little effort and we truly believe this gelding is as finished as one can get in the versatility ranch horse world. He has seen the bright lights and big cities, won on every single level possible, and is honest! We’ve taken Keystone to the Palo Duro Canyon and the Canadian River for trail rides. He handles all the terrain with ease. He’s sure footed, falls in line wherever you ask him to be, and never boogered or spooked at any wild life or traffic we encountered. Keystone is accustomed to all the show prep tasks; bathing, clipping, lunging, hauling, stalling…he handles it all like a gentleman.
