Description:
Hello, I will be looking for a ranch job come early spring 2025(Februrary). Will be looking for something long term. I have a full resume and references I can send. Most recently worked on a cow/calf operation for 3 years as the lone ranch hand taking care of 400 head. I was involved in all aspects from cattle work horseback to herd health(mostly with dart gun or pushing sick animals to corrals and doctoring) have only doctored a few horseback, I’ve doctored a lot of calves for scours and have done iv’s in calves before. Also calved heifers through barn and cows on pasture. I did all the haying from swathing to baling to all the equipment maintenance. Did a lot of embryo work with cows too doing a lot of shots and everything that entails that. Did quite a bit of fencing from barbed wire to electric. I also have fixed a few water systems as well. Don’t have a horse at the moment but I do have some tack. I also have a well mannered dog that comes with me. I don’t have all the experience in the world but I do have a willingness and want to learn more as there is not anything I have done that I’ve loved as much as ranching. The last place I was on I mostly worked 7 days a week year round so I am used to the lifestyle. Looking mostly in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado and maybe Washington for right fit but would consider other areas. Let me know if you have any questions and I can send my resume upon request.
