Description:
Looking to sell a GORGEOUS pair of Jerry Cates double mounted spurs. These are in excellent unused condition. One heel band on each spur has a nicely engraved brass band button, silver applique of longhorn steer and an etched silver plate at the rowels. The opposite heel band has three beautifully engraved silver buttons and three engraved silver plates along the shank. These spurs feature Cates early period engraving and they are marked "Cates 911" on outside heel bands. Rowel Diameter: 2 1/2", Number of points on Rowel: 24, Heel band opening: 3 1/8", Heel band width: 1 1/8", Overall length: 7".
