Haying: 2 Room And Board: Yes Phone#: 000 0000000 click to view fullsize image Description: Dependable and honest single fella seeking position on a commercial cow/calf outfit but will consider other jobs that involve cattle work. Available February 1. Location: Central/Western US About 2 years of experience overall: haying (raking, stacking/moving bales), irrigation (pivot, wheel lines, hand lines, flood), calving, branding, gathering/trailing/roundup (horseback/side-by-side/on foot), working cattle, some doctoring, setting up pens, distributing salt/mineral, feeding round bales and grain, fence repair, breaking ice in winter, some windmill work, some dirt work, hotwire, harrowing, fertilizing, spraying weeds, cleaning barns, stocking supplies, record keeping, yard/property upkeep, etc... Experience working in temps from approximately -30 to 105. I have not yet learned to rope. No animals, clean driver’s license, reliable pick-up, health insurance. Not above doing any job that’s needed to contribute to the success of your outfit. Horseback time is great but I’ve got no problem shoveling stalls, moving panels, cleaning trailers, running errands, etc... when called for. I’m a little green and recognize that there’s a lot that I still don’t know but I’m eager to learn as much as possible. My wage expectation is therefore very reasonable. I’m a hard worker, reliable, intelligent, disciplined, and determined, and I’m a firm believer in mutual respect. I show up for work on time, everyday and I give 100% until a job is done. I’m a little on the quiet side but I’m easygoing and work well with others. I also enjoy days where I’m mostly on my own. Non-smoking, rare alcohol (social only), very respectful of your livestock, property, and equipment. References available.
