6 year old Great Pyrenees neutered male

2 year old Great Pyrenees intact female



Both have been working with me for a year in a custom grazing project for vineyards, which I was trying to improve. They guarded both goats and Shetland sheep in electric mesh fence rotating pastures. They guarded Dorset sheep for a while but sometimes got after a ram.



I did not have the chance to raise either but have had the pleasure to work with them this last year and help them as best I could.



They have been extremely adaptable dealing with constant moves to different properties, towns and even groups of livestock as well as with vineyard guests and other people who are clueless about livestock and working animals. They have dealt with all that admirably!



I am choosing to leave the program and would like to see them have a real job (as there are no real threats to the animals here in developed vineyard properties) and be cared for with understanding and respect a working dog should receive.



A few months ago they got a full vet checkup, vaccines, and the male had dental surgery to fix a horribly infected tooth. His health and demeanor have improved significantly since then.
