Honey is registered 4 years old (2020 model) and standing at 15.2 hands tall. He is a well made horse, thick made with all four clean legs and a long mane and tail, he is built to last for years to come!Don’t let Honey’s age fool you he is as broke and gentle as a 15 year old horse but with his whole life ahead of him! He is an absolute puppy dog on the ground and has great ground manners, he will stand quietly tied all day without pawing or nickering. Honey is always the first one to meet you at the gate and gets along with other horses well. Honey rides outstanding in the arena. He will ride around with a true one hand neck rein, have a nice smooth trot with a true headset. He will one step lope, picking up both correct leads every time and have a nice big stop. Honey can be ridden either English or western and will excel well in either. He will also side pass to open gates and will sort a cow. Absolutely anyone can ride Honey from complete beginners to experienced riders, he is absolutely perfect for everyone. Honey is a great trail horse, and has been exposed to many, many miles of trails and through all kinds of terrain. Honey is very careful about where he places his feet and always takes care of his rider. He has absolutely no spook or funny business, He is a point and go type of horse. He will ride out alone or in the middle of a big group. Honey always stands perfectly still to tack, bath, stand tied to the trailer, has been hauled all over and will load and haul quietly. He’ll pick up all 4 feet and stands great for the vet and for the farrier. He loves a bath and to be groomed. He is used to a stall and turn out on pasture and will do well on either. He does great with time off and will ride off the same every time. Honey is suitable for any type of rider and is truly an all around type of horse. Honey is selling with a current negative coggins, rabies vaccine, recent dental work and shod on all four feet.
