Description:
Gypsy" is 15.3, close to 16 hand registered paint out of a QH stud. When I started her I sacked her out and snubbed her up to another horse and hopped on and she never bucked and never has. She had a raised a few babies but I have been using her to ranch on. She has been used in the pens and is a fun horse to sort as she is cowy and agile. Drug numerous calves to the fire and and will keep the rope tight with a nordfork and is fine with all the commotion on the ground. Head and healed on her in the branding trap and pasture. I have doctored calves on her and she has a lot of power to trip weaning age calves and you can get off and tie it down with no problems. Has the speed to make a nice team roping horse. She has stands in the box fine and has been rode in the arena. Just don’t have access to roping steers Moved cattle on the Highway and is use to traffic and semis. She has been one of my go to horses since she is a real fast walker and super tough. I have had her in the bob Marshall as a saddle horse and pack horse. She was used this hunting season to help a friend that works for OnX and packed out his bull so she will be in their hunting video when it comes out. My 12 y/o daughter has rode her and so has a 70 year old lady. She is a fast walker and not a dead head plug. She has a soft handle on her and wont enjoy someone plow reining her around or yanking on her face the whole time. She is broke enough to ride in a bridle or rope halter. She has never taken a lane step in her life and a PPE is welcome here on the ranch. She does have some scabs leftover from scratches, it’s inevitable out here with the live water and crossing creeks numerous times daily. Everyone that’s been horses knows it’s from the environment and not contagious. Had two local vets look at her and have been putting a cream on them to get rid of them so it won’t be an issue but you are welcome to talk your vet about them or research them yourself. I just don’t like leaving horses locked in a pen when there is a meadow on the otherside of the fence. not interested in any trading as I have enough horses as it is.
