Description:
Ruby is a well-mannered mare who saddles, loads, ties, picks up her feet, and is ready to be started under saddle. I purchased her a few months ago from the breeder, where she had little training. My initial plan was to start her and get her into the show pen, but as a full-time college student and business owner, I haven’t had the time to continue her training. I’ve completed all of the groundwork, and now it’s time for the next person to take her further and begin her training under saddle.



This mare is a true athlete, with the potential for open-level competition. She’s sensitive and feely, and may be cautious around new people, but once trust is established, there’s nothing she won’t do for you. Ruby is not suitable for a beginner or youth handler, as she is a lot of horse. Her dam was not shown, but she’s sired by Smart Quick Merada, a cutting horse earner of over $100k.



Ruby is up to date on everything, and I welcome any vet checks at the buyer’s expense. She has a cosmetic scar on her right front leg from an old injury, but it doesn’t affect her performance. She is stout, straight legged, and a beautiful mover. The price is firm—this is an exceptional mare.
