Standing around 15.2hh. He was born on our family ranch and is our go to horse for most activities. He is broke broke broke, husband safe and kid safe. No spook, zero buck, no kick, no rear, no pull back. Stands for the farrier, loves baths, easy to de-worm. Never been sick. He is sound. CJ will go literally anywhere you point him. He’s been trained in team roping in both ends but prefers the heel side. I will say, he’s not fully finished and he’s not a world beater rope horse. He’s fun to play on though and puts you in a good spot. We’ve done everything on him! Miles and miles and miles of trails, heading, heeling, team sorting, played on barrels, team sorting, cow work, cases the roping dummy, branding, doctoring cattle, hazing steers, walking over logs, jumping over logs, walking through creeks/rivers, reining patterns. Now, while he’s not an expert in any of these, he’s willing and GENTLE! He’s the kind of horse that would put on his favorite pair of aloe infused fuzzy socks and make himself a cup of hot cocoa while curled up on the couch with you while binge watching your favorite tv show. He is 100% in your pocket and the biggest love bug! He’s the right age. He’s gorgeous. He could really go any direction. He will try to be herd boss but quickly and respectfully backs down as a #2 to an already established herd boss. He gets along with other horses, minis, donkeys, dogs, cats, kids, and goats. The only reason I’m selling him is I want to pursue cutting and he’s just too big for what I’m looking for anymore. He’s too nice to just let him sit in a pasture.
