Description:
Hippie is a 16 year old sorrel gelding that my daughter has been riding for two years. He has been her ranch horse. We’ve gathered tons of cattle, took him to the mountains on a camping trip, tried out some playdays, and rode through parades. This guy is as solid as they come. He is calm and collected everywhere we go. He is a great confidence builder.



Hippie is a push button type of horse. He does everything he is told to do. He is sensible with no bad habits. He will ride away from the house and from other horses with no issues. He has helped my daughter become confident and independent. Hippie leads, loads, ties, hauls, and stands for the farrier like one should. He is safe on the ground with young kids. He can be completely handled by youngsters. There is no funny business about him and we have never had to worry about our daughter’s safety whether she was on top of him or on the ground.



Hippie has good bone, clean legs, and good feet. He is completely sound with no concerns for his future. His only issue is a couple of small bumps on his spine. They are just part of him. He has had them since before we bought him. They are soft and He doesn’t like them to be messed with. We cut a saddle pad to fit him and they do not cause any issues for him. We have taken him many miles and he has never shown any signs of pain. His saddle pad will go with him. I have pictures of his back upon request.



We are an open book about Hippie. He is a true gentleman about everything he does and never causes issues. He is priced at $3000. But a good home is much more important than his pricetag. We hope to find someone who will take care of him as he takes care of your kiddos.
