We bred him, raised him and trained him. He is ½ American quarter horse and ½ American Cream Draft. He is registered with the International Draft Sport horse Registry. His mother was a race bred quarter horse mare, and his sire was registered ACDHA. We know everything about him and he’s one we loved and enjoyed. Watermelon was born in Montana and moved down to Texas with us in 2018. He is easy to catch, comes trotting to you in the pasture every day. He was super easy to start, never offered to buck, bit or kick. He has great ground manners and is safe with the kids around him. Watermelon is great out in the pasture with other horses. He has no maintenance or special needs and is sound in every way with no blemishes. We ponied other horses off of him, gathered cattle, and ridden him down the trails. He stands to be saddled, groomed, bathed and is easy to load and unload out of the trailer. This is an outstanding young, crossbred gelding and has been Casey’s favorite horse since the day he was born. No matter what you want to do with him, he will be up for the task. He stands 15.1h and is super smooth in all gaits. He is so fun and easy to ride. He isn’t spooky and has been around tarps and had ropes swung off him and roped a few cattle in the pasture too.
