Description:
This extra sweet gelding that we kindly call Copper will make each and every day spent with him bright and shiny like a brand new penny. Copper is a steady and trustworthy partner that is dependable and handy all over the ranch and down the trails. He has a nice one handed neck rein and goes right where you send him. He is great in rough terrain, navigating through prickly cactus, will cross over anything and loves the water. He is confident and brave cruising through town with heavy traffic, bicycles, motorcycles, and crowds of people. Copper will cruise down the trails, road, and ranch on a loose rein and is perfectly fine riding alone. He rides, western, English and bareback. He is very smooth and comfortable to ride with a nice jog and slow lope. He collects nicely and has a supple face and ribcage. Copper has been used on a dude ranch for trails rides here in our home town going through the Tonto National Forrest and mountains. He is easy to handle on his back and on the ground. He’s good with other horses and can live in a stall or outside. Copper has been roped in the arena and out in the pasture. He’s very consistent and will go right to the correct spot for an easy target. He has also been used for a pick-up horse at rodeos during the bronc riding. He is fun in the sorting pens and to gather cattle out of the pastures. He has a ton of natural cow sense and has the breeding to back it with legends including Peptoboonsmal & Young Gun! He will side pass to open all the gates and ground tie where you drop a rein. Copper is always gentle even with months off. He stays trained and will take care of his rider. He has plenty of go if you need to get a job done, but is always quiet minded and easy to ride. From the ultimate cowboy to the recreational trail rider this is perfect horse. No nonsense and the same individual every time you saddle him. Copper is accustomed to gunfire, tarps, dogs, buffalo, machinery, pigs, and even a camel. He will lay down with a touch of your finger for easy mounting too! Copper has a clean bill of health and current vet exam. He is UTD on shoeing, worming, and vaccines.
