We could go on for days about this one. He is special to us! The Gun Mann is his registered AQHA name. We call him “Stanley”. He is 5 years old, 14.3 hands and stout made. Stanley is a stunning palomino gelding with a long mane, full tail, and a baby doll head. He’s by Gunners Special Nite and out of an own daughter of Magnum Chic Dream. He is fully trained and he’s got a ton of style. He is a talented reiner and he goes around low headed. If you want to make a heel horse, calf horse or breakaway horse, there won’t be another one in our barn with a bigger set of brakes then Stanley. He can run and really DRAG IT. All this talent wrapped up in this golden package. We sure love this horse and he’s been a true gentleman in every way. He’s soft in the bridle and responsive to his rider. Stanley has a HUGE stop and spins a hole in the ground with ease. He has smooth gaits and is an absolutely AMAZING Horse. He extends all of his gaits when asked, and does not lose any of his charisma in doing so! Stanley’s trot is so fun and stylish, He will bring you to the winner’s circle and earn hardware whether it’s reining, ranch riding, or anything else. Aside from all the fancy buttons, he is uncomplicated and content to just mosey around the ranch, go get the mail, or hit the trails. He is easy-going and has such a great mind for a young horse. We have trail ridden him alone and with a group, nothing phases him, and he doesn’t mind leading or following. Stanley has crossed water, gone over logs and various terrains, and seems to really enjoy the great outdoors. He’s great around kids, dogs, large construction equipment, all kinds of traffic, etc. He has been ridden under English tack and looks super cute going around. He has a great natural frame and fluid movement. In fact, he rides the same with or without a bridle or saddle. We have ridden him bareback all over. He stands for mounting, even when it’s a picnic table or trailer fender instead of a block. Heck, he even lets our 3-year-old son get on his back and doesn’t bat an eye. He’s seen cattle and has had a rope thrown off his back. He’s great at dragging the log or barrel. – Stanley has never really said “NO” to anything we’ve asked of him. We have tons of pictures and video of him doing all kinds of fun stuff around our ranch and the shows. He is always up for any kind of shenanigans, there’s no end to his patience! Stanley has outstanding ground manners and is a total gentleman to be around. He stands for bathing, braiding, farrier, vet work, clipping, etc. Stanley is an easy keeper. He’s been turned out in the pasture and also lives inside a stall, it doesn’t matter to him. He is good with other horses as well as by himself.
