Description:
“Nitro”, registered name “Smoke Tracks” He is a 15.2hh, 11 year old gelding. This big handsome boy is a true all-around gelding, with a little bit of everything to offer. Nitro is a love bug, in your pocket, pick me, type of dude. He has tons of personality and loves to nicker when you walk out at feeding time. He is a gentleman to work around and can be handled by kids and beginners. He has no bad stall or barn habits. He has good ground manners and is very gentle to work with. He stands be groomed, bathed, tacked, etc. He is gentle with picking up his feet and stands tied to the trailer as well. He is easy to bridle, and overall is easy to work with. Nitro absolutely loves trail riding. He is brave and confident on the trails. He will lead, follow, go out alone and in groups. He is not spooky, and you can drop your rein and enjoy the ride. He is relaxing and fun. Nitro has been around dogs, deer, traffic, bikes, etc. He is fun on the trails and makes an amazing adventure partner as well. He can also sit for weeks at a time, we can tack up and go, no silly business or lunging. Nitro rides western, would look good going english, and has been ridden bareback. Nitro will move off leg pressure, pivot, back up, and neck rein. I ride him in several different bits, and he is soft in your hands, and responsive. Nitro is a free easy mover, and he will plop around on a loose rein and be lazy if you want him to be. When you want him to go to work, he will absolutely do that for you as well. Nitro is extremely teachable and intelligent; he likes to learn new things! He has been around cows, and I have swung the rope off of him and pulled the barrel around with him. In the arena, Nitro will walk, trot, lope. He knows his leads and is easy to guide around. He is not a complicated ride and doesn’t require a manual. This big boy can most certainly take a joke, and has put up with me doing all sorts of silly stuff with him and he is game for anything that I ask him to do. He tries his heart out for me. He really wants to please his rider. Nitro is good for the vet and farrier. He currently wears front shoes, due to trail riding and rough terrain but he can wear all four or go barefoot. He requires NO special requirements, maintenance etc. He can live in a stall or outside and currently lives with two other geldings outside. Nitro is a dream horse and absolutely beautiful. I could see Nitro going into any discipline and being a total rockstar. He is set up to go in any direction. He is prime aged, handsome, and a nice gelding wrapped up In that beautiful buckskin package.
