She was purchased from the King Ranch as a yearling. This remarkable mare had done everything from ranch work to horse shows to roping and playing polo. Dragging calves, heading, heeling, tying down steers, reining patterns and going down the fence. She has been ridden by high number ropers to novice and beginner riders. She is a multiple buckle winner, money earner in the RHAA as well as limited open winnings in the AQHA Ranching Heritage. Marsala is as gentle as they come and has never offered to buck or do anything dangerous or counterfeit. For a 5 year old mare, she has seen and done a lot but has not been ridden into the ground or hurt. She is solid and sound. It’s not everyday that a King Ranch horse can be purchased, especially one that is well on her way to being anything you want her to be. Marsala stands a hair over 14.2 HH and weighs 1050 lbs.
