Pulled Wool Saddle Pads are the ultimate wool pad! Made by hand pulled individual loops of virgin wool, the average pad can have 3600 loops.



Made for the working cowboy and cowgirl in mind that spend long hours in the saddle. These pads are made correct thickness for solid contact; very breathable, built to enhance the horse to rider experience.



Each pad is made to meet specifications of each customer. Construction today is much the same as a century ago: "One loop at a time." Customer picks preferred color(s) and size.



Base price for pads made from natural color(s) is .45/square inch (average cost about $400 each), shipping is additional. Custom pads made from factory dyed wool(s) is an additional 25% to base price mentioned above.



Options of custom brands always available!



New, these pads are about 1" thick, with initial use, please expect to quickly compress to less, and become very supple. Average weight for each pad new is about 6 1/2 lbs. Wool is the preferred fiber for saddle pads, known for its natural insulation, wicking, and anti-microbial qualities. And just like your favorite wool vest or jacket, these pads last decades with minimal care!
