Oversaw forest allotments, managing 400 pairs, and handled winter cattle feeding with a hay chopper. Horse Trader - Bodee Baldwin, Amarillo, Texas (9 years): Evaluated and presented horses in sales rings. Manual Laborer - Skeens Construction, Amarillo, Texas (3 years): Skilled in framing, torching metal, and concrete work. Pen Rider - Harris Feed Yard, Coalinga, California (4 years): Managed cattle health and trained horses. Joei Hamill’s Experience: Silvies Valley Ranch - Experience Manager: Managing guest experiences, itineraries, and the equine program. Also assists the cowboy crew with doctoring and gathering, and helps with forest allotments when needed. Capable of working in office roles such as paperwork, EID tagging, and administrative tasks. Cowboy - Rocky Hill Ranch: Managed 500 head of stockers and built 20 miles of wildlife-compliant fencing. Trail Guide - Grant Grove Stables (5 summers): Guided mountain trail rides and handled managerial duties, including backcountry packing with mules. GORRELL Performance Horses — Loper (Internship) - Rode multiple horses daily as part of a reining cow horse training program. - Gained hands-on experience in the care, conditioning, and training of performance horses. - worked in reining cow horse events, including competitions in Las Vegas.
