Description:
Chapo is a 6yr old gelding standing right around 14.2hh. He is a finished ranch horse that can do any job you ask of him & is worth his weight in gold. He will track one in the pasture you’re trying to rope, sort in an alley and out in the open, work young horses in the round pen, drag calves all day long, pull a fat feedlot yearling into the trailer, load calves onto the semi, and has been packed off of. He’s hard footed and hasn’t needed shoes a day in his life. He’s been lightly started in the head box (about 30 steers). We’ve also used him in team brandings and team sortings. He does really well in town. He’s good both penned up and turned out. We had him turned out most of this summer and got him back in the end of August and he was the exact same horse he was before. He will pack you, your wife, & your kid around. He is very sweet and friendly & the type of horse your kids could easily go out and catch by themselves. He has no buck to him, and gets along well with our other horses (both mares & geldings).
