Description:
Large cow/calf operation in northeast Colorado under new professional management and looking for a professional minded cowboy. I am looking for someone who understands real stockmanship, can identify sickness and calmly rope and doctor. Must be able to saddle up most mornings, ride and rope as well as help with feeding in the winter, ranch infrastructure like stock tanks, fencing, salt, mineral and general maintenance. The ranch feeds with a large mixer and also a bale processor at times. A modest 2 bedroom, 1 bath house available as well as a ranch truck. I’m attempting to build a team who can help me improve the ranch herd as well as the ranch employee culture here. I need mature, professional minded hands who hold themselves and the ranch operation to a high standard. You will be working directly with me and I always try and put the ranch hands ahead of myself and set you up for success each day.
