Description:
My husband and I both have experience with livestock, farming , and are no strangers to hard work. My husband grew up raising sheep, lambing and doctoring included. I grew up on a cattle ranch and helped doctor, move, calve, and care for cattle using horses and ATVs.



We currently have a few sheep and goats, a couple horses, and care for 35 cattle on a farm in MN. We also assist with the market garden, high tunnels, and orchard.



My husband has his CDL, and can operate many types of heavy equipment, grain wagon and bulk tanks, and now even school bus. Also in his skill set are mechanics and carpentry, some welding, electric and plumbing, and he built us a 1700 sqft home with my plans.



I have experience as a gourmet chef, can cook for a crew, and will consider helping with childcare. I am CPR certified and certified as a Master Gardener. I can care for and ride horse and sort cattle.



We are both hardworking and smart, as well as respectful and always ready to learn more. We have two kids under four. We are very driven to give our kids a great life out on the land.



Our ultimate goal is to buy our own place again and raise livestock and an orchard. We would love to find somewhere we can purchase land from our boss, or nearby to ease transitions.



We work very well together, but are able to split work as needed. A position for one person is fine. Housing is needed.





Looking for a position and home in Montana or Washington, but open to other locations too!



If willing to sell land: We would love to discuss a direct sale, or perhaps a long-term work agreement to basically work into ownership--maybe you want to stay in your home for a few more years but retire from the ranch? Let’s talk!
