Description:
My husband and I both have experience with livestock, farming , and are no strangers to hard work. My husband grew up raising sheep, and caring for elderly folks with his family’s business. I grew up on a cattle ranch and helped doctor, move, calve, and care for cattle using horses and ATVs.



We currently have a few sheep, a couple horses, and care for 35 cattle on a farm in MN. We also assist with the market garden, high tunnels, and orchard. We utilize careful rotational grazing, low to no tillage gardening methods, integrated pest management, mostly organic and a few conventional methods, and aare always focused on improving the health of the land, and the longevity of the seedstock/livestock.



My husband has his CDL, and can operate many types of heavy equipment, grain wagon, bulk tanks, and now even school bus. Also in his skill set is mechanics, carpentry, welding, electric and plumbing, fencing.



I have experience as a gourmet chef, can cook for a crew, and will help with childcare. I have experience with Montessori and nature based learning. I am CPR certified and certified as a Master Gardener. I can care for and ride horse and sort cattle.



We have two kids under four. We are very driven to give our kids a great life out on the land. Our ultimate goal is to find our next home, and raise livestock, berries, mushrooms, and farm dinners. We intend to enrich the local community with food and classes.



We would love to find somewhere we can purchase land from our boss, or local land nearby to ease transitions. Maybe you want to be a stepping stone or incubator type.



If willing to sell land: We would love to discuss a direct sale, or perhaps a long-term work agreement to basically work into ownership--maybe you want to stay in your home for a few more years but retire from the ranch? Let’s talk!



Searching in MT, WA primarily to be close to family but open to other places.
