This individual will assist with the processing and sorting of incoming and existing cattle inventory in Broken Bow, Nebraska. This person will be responsible for: Managing the daily reports, daily start-up, shutdown, and reporting of cattle records with the ALCC processing program and data. Administering vaccines, implants, castrations, tags, topicals and antibiotics according to protocols and procedures. Collecting and inputting data into the computer system. Performing sanitation and preventative maintenance procedures in the facilities and on equipment. Following AQA and safety guidelines when in cattle handling areas and facilities. Ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications: Ability to promote teamwork and effective communication. Driven, organized, action-orientated, and ability to multi-task. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. Individual must be team-oriented. Computer skills and knowledge. Beef Quality Assurance certified. Commitment to safety and quality culture. Requirements & Compensation This position requires: Individual must be able to work in adverse weather conditions if needed. Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds continuously. Standing, walking, twisting, and reaching/handling/grasping continuously; carrying, lifting/lowering, pushing/pulling, and stairs frequently; sitting, bending, and climbing occasionally; crawling and kneeling/crouching rarely.
