Description:
Experienced horseman taking colts/horses to start & go on with further training. I do colt starting, tune ups, & advanced training. I do extensive ground work emphasizing willingness & respect. I am a working cowboy so I truly understand & value a horse who is a willing partner & everything I do is focused to that end. I believe strongly in on the job training & work hard to expose horses to all types of experiences encountered in everyday ranch work. I believe this produces the best, most confident, well rounded horses that can & are willing to do whatever is asked of them. I strive to & have consistently produced confident, respectful, willing horses that can go whatever direction the client would like. I do have indoor facilities to ride/train during the winter & plenty of outside ground to ride on the nicer winter days. I have access to cattle year round. I strongly recommend/encourage clients to come both during & especially at the end of training to ride with me. This is to ensure that the horse is responsive & respectful to the client. Thereby, the client is confident in their ability to control, depend on, & enjoy their horse & I am assured they are satisfied with the job I have done.
