Description:
Dunny is an 11 year old grade buckskin gelding. Big, stout, solid working ranch horse. This is a cowboy’s horse. He needs a job. Not for kids. Not for beginners.



Dunny has been my main ranch horse this spring and summer. He has seen a ton of miles the last few months. I’ve doctored calves, yearlings, and cows on him in some very rough country. One of the most sure footed horses I’ve ever ridden.



Dunny knows what a soaking wet saddle pad feels like at the end of a long day. He will cross water, go through the nastiest brush you can imagine and handles steep and rocky terrain well. He’s easy to saddle, load in the trailer, bathe, and fly spray. He’s easy with other horses and will ride off on his own when you need him to.

He wears shoes on the fronts and is barefoot on the back. He is up to date on vaccinations and teeth.



Dunny has offered to crow hop when he’s fresh. He’s lightly bucked a few times. He’s never bucked me off and never tried to be dangerous. He loves ranch work and is not a big fan of the arena.



He is being sold because I am down a head horse and need to find a replacement.



Located in SW Nebraska. He will continue to be used on the ranch until he’s sold.
