He stands 14.2 hands tall, weighs 1150 lbs and is built to last. Earl is one of the most well-rounded, user friendly horses we’ve thrown our legs over. Whether you want to take him on a trail ride in rough terrain and test your adrenal gland or mosey down the road and enjoy a summer evening with friends, Earl is the horse you want to be riding. Incredibly sure footed, will ride in a group or by himself, never arguing to do either. Earl has been used on the ranch as well. He’s had tons of calves drug to the fire off of him and been used to doctor yearlings turned out on wheat pasture. Earl has also been patterned on the barrels and poles in the arena. He may not be a 1D, pro caliber, barn burner, but he will go through them as many times as you ask, correctly. Earl rides one handed, lopes and catches both leads in his circles, and has an uncomplicated handle. You never have to worry about pushing the “wrong button”. The absolute best part about Earl? HE HAS NO HUMP, BUCK, OR CINCHINESS TO HIM WHATSOEVER. We’ve stood him up for several weeks at a time and confidently saddled him up and stepped right aboard. Earl is great for the farrier, gets along great with other horses, and comes with all of the Ranch Horse Manners. He stands tied patiently, saddles up gentle each and every time, never fusses to go to work, loads and unloads himself on the trailer, and will be exactly how we describe him when he makes it to your home.
