Description:
Looking to sell a BEAUTIFUL pair of MARLIN SPURGEON “GREAT AMERICAN TRAIL DRIVE 1995” SPURS. Very collectible unworn spurs by the late Marlin Spurgeon to commemorate the Great American Trail Drive. This pair is 4 of 1000, maker marked, sterling mounted, unworn. Great addition to many collection.



Marlin Spurgeon was an engraver from Texas who got his start as a teenager in the Edward Bohlin Saddle Shop in Hollywood, California. He was awarded the Will Rogers Award and was awarded the Master Engraver Award in 1996 from the Academy of Western Artists. Marlin passed away in 2003.
