Description:
GORGEOUS - ONE-OF-A-KIND CUSTOM MADE - Vintage Western Leather Horse Headstall from the 1970’s. The leather is not marked - there’s no room with all that Sterling Silver. The brow band and cheek pieces are loaded with silver bars from KKKK Rodeo Sterling Silver as are the buckles. There are 3 buckles - one at the top of the poll band for adjustment, and 2 on the throat latch all marked KKKK Rodeo Sterling. All the silver is in perfect condition and just beautiful! I’ve never seen a pattern like it on the bars with sort of a rope in the center. The leather is Dark Oil, Double ply 5/8” wide - nice leather and I just conditioned it. The MASSIVE conchos are marked Wage Sterling overlay. These weigh in at almost 2 full troy ounces. They’re 2 1/4 inches around - I’ve never seen conchos so big!! They’re amazing and were added to the bridle in the 1990’s. There is a crack in the leather on the poll strap but its only 1 sided. It doesn’t affect the use of the bridle unless you put the buckle in that hole. Other than that - this thing is ready for your next show. This bridle is something you will never see again - 1 OF A KIND. I am NOT letting it go cheap because it cannot be replaced. This will fit any standard size horse. Time to show off!
