Description:
Scarmardo Cattle Company, LLC in Caldwell, TX is seeking a responsible, detail oriented, and organized individual for the Cattle Clerk position. This individual works closely with our cattle buyers and customers to ensure that all purchases and sales are done as smoothly and accurately as possible. This position will require a very high proficiency in the Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office suite programs. The use of other cattle management software is needed but will be trained to use. The ability to be proactive, work independently, multi-task, and be self-motivated is a must. Agriculture experience, background, or education in the cattle industry is helpful.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Processing purchases and invoices

Maintaining the shared Google Calendar

Corresponding with buyers and sellers to schedule deliveries

Maintaining accurate records of cattle movements and charges for all cattle

Communicating with owners and ranch managers to ensure accurate inventory counts

Other duties as needed

Working Spanish is a plus



Required to work every other weekend and every other Monday. If you work on Weekend, you have following Monday off.
