We have always been passionate about giving back when we are able. With our horses and platforms like HorseBid.com, it has been possible for us to do just that!

Toasty is the epitome of cute when it comes to what you think of in a quarter pony. She stands 14 hands tall and 15 hands wide! She definitely shows more of the quarter horse side of her breeding with her thick build, but she is that perfect height for the whole family to enjoy without the need for a step ladder to get on! She is built just how one should be and is wrapped in a shiny silver coat that’s sure to get you noticed wherever you go.

If you need a horse that is solid and the same ride be it January or June, you’ll want to keep an eye on Toasty! She isn’t going to slide 10 feet or spin a hole in the ground like a fancy reiner, but if safety, soundness, and pleasure are what you are after, she is definitely the mare for you! She is the perfect family horse! Lead her around with the itty bitty kids or turn her loose with the kiddos who can pilot her on their own. Then mom and dad can enjoy her when the kids have had their fill!

Toasty is barefoot and 100% sound and solid in every way. She stands nice to be trimmed, ties quiet, good to deworm, and is easy to catch. She runs in a mixed herd and is middle to high on the totem pole, but gets along well with everyone.

We have used Toasty in all aspects of ranch life. She will drag calves in the spring and does it with ease. She’s patient enough for beginners to learn how to catch, dally, and leave the pen correctly which is HUGE for a beginner. She’ll walk right through the smoke and chaos confidently and carefully.

She has also roped and doctored yearlings on grass and moved pairs from pasture to pasture each summer. She will ride out alone or in a group and isn’t barn or buddy sour. She will load on any trailer with just the lead around her neck and wait for you to come tie her in place.

We cannot say enough good things about this little mare, so we invite you to bring the family and come see for yourself!
