We are looking to fill a seasonal or full-time position on our cattle crew starting in Aug. **PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD** This is an awesome entry level position into the cattle industry. The cattle crew is responsible for all aspects of cattle health and handling. This includes but is not limited to, checking cattle on horseback daily, doctoring, processing, shipping, necropsying deads, skid steer operation, water tank maintenance and upkeep etc. Our crew learns all about drugs and their uses, withdrawals and administration, how to run a hydraulic chute, implanting, deworming, tagging, sorting etc. Annual BQA training as well. We are willing to train in all aspects of the cattle health and handling, however SOLID HORSEMANSHIP SKILLS ARE A MUST. Applicant MUST HAVE his/her own horse(s) and tack.
