Stoney is a 15 hand golden palomino gelding. He is 10 years old. Stoney is a special horse, gentle for any level of rider. He has a nice neck rein, will drag his tail when he stops and side passes. He knows his leads. Stoney is comfortable to ride with a nice smooth trot and canter. You can ride him in a hackamore. He is a lot of fun to ride. He will go all day when asked and doesn’t easily spook. He has been used all around the ranch. You can open gates on him or do just about anything else you want on Stoney. He has been used for trail riding extensively in the National Forest. Guests like to take him shed hunting in some of NM roughest terrain. He has been packed on. He will cross water and downfall. Stoney is a quiet horse who knows his job and enjoys it. He is easy to catch and a gentleman on the ground. He will stand quietly tied and is easy to load and haul.
