Job Description



Searching for a qualified manager who has experience in managing cattle operations on pastures with introduced forages and high rainfall areas. Interested in someone with proven experience in managing a cattle operation in conjunction with an effective pasture rotation program to achieve maximum production and profitability.

Ranch consists of approximately 3,400.00 acres



" Pasture management

" Cattle management

" Managing 1 employee or part time employee

" Working with ownership on operational budgets and monthly expenses oversight

" Maintaining all assets in productive working order, keeping all clean and organized with systems and appliances in good repair utilizing ranch help as well as contractors

" Assisting in identifying and implementing key initiatives to achieve maximum profitability

" All duties associated with day to day management of 750 head cow heard





Required Skills

" Strong work ethic and willingness to perform necessary duties to achieve company goals

" Knowledge of maintenance and repair, consistent with land and cattle operations

" Basic Mechanical knowledge

" Strong cattle background

" Strong high rainfall pasture management experience

" Ability to maintain good relationships within community

" Pass drug screening



Compensation



" Dependent on experience + bonus on performance
