Waylon is ready to hit the trails or ranch versatility classes with any level of rider! He is one of the easiest geldings to ride and so versatile, he would fit anyone’s family. Waylon has been down countless miles of trails and is as experienced as they come! He goes through belly deep water or shallow creeks, crosses any obstacle in front of him, and is traffic safe to ride to town. He has been shown in all the ranch versatility classes and is a pleasure to show. Waylon has a true one hand neck rein, solid stop, backs, turnaround, and side passes. He is one of the most comfortable horses to ride, he has a nice trot and the smoothest lope. He knows his leads and will lope right off from a standstill. Waylon has also been ridden outside and used for everyday ranch work from sorting pairs, pasture roping and doctoring calves, and drug hundreds to the fire. He rides out alone or in a group. He stands for you to get on or if you need a mounting block. Waylon would be excellent to teach youth riders the basics or even to rope some, he is very patient with his rider. If you want to hit the trails this summer, show in ranch classes, or needing a solid using gelding Waylon is your horse! He is 9yrs old and grade. He stands 14.2hh tall.
