Looking to be a part of an Historical Ranch out west? Wanting to settle down and call a place home, or just prefer to do seasonal? wish to be appreciated? This is your opportunity. We are a large outfit Since 1872 located in the NE part of California, bordering the NE area of Nevada and the SE area of Oregon. We are family oriented, that is very rural with a small town nearby that provides shopping with restaurant’s and excellent schools, great Sheriff, zero tolerance for crime, rural living and a great place to live and raise a family. Nearest large towns would be Reno Nevada or Klamath falls Oregon. Some of the most beautiful country in the world is found right here, it offers four seasons, high mountain country with lakes, rivers and pines, which allows for great hunting and fishing. We range in high dessert where wild horses roam and in the beautiful mountainous pines with vast meadows where there is an abundance of wild life. We are now, adding to the Cowboy crew division as we are growing! currently we have 2 full-time positions available. We are open range in most areas and our pastures are large, all with a variety of a vast amount of lands and topography as described. We run over 2000 head of cattle plus calves. Most all things are done mainly a horseback, we are a cowboy outfit so we we believe in the the cowboy way of life as we apply it everyday. No haying, we have an AG division! *Looking for team players that come with a good attitude and are humble, have guts, integrity, honesty and willing to learn and ride for the brand! We are an easy Going outfit, we have fun, we love what we do and we work hard when called for. Please no heavy drinkers or drugs! No Drama MUST! be able to rope! prefer you know how to drag a calf to fire. We halter break and start our own colts, as we have our own Remuda. Must be able to handle a horse and come with some horse experience and knowledge of the ranching way of life, follow instruction’s, be a team player, reliable, and do your best. We will train in some areas for the right candidate, but must be able to "Rope" and handle livestock! Roping skills is a must!!! No exceptions please. We offer great benefits which includes salary paid every other Friday w/ direct deposit, so no waiting on that paycheck! a string of horses provided, will allow up to 3 personal horses, we provide feed, we provide shoeing equipment, ranch truck, beef, 401K, housing for married or single, with all utilities, Ranch Cook house for all Ranch employees! Breakfast and lunch is provide daily, we have an excellent cook, how could you miss out on that....
