Description:
“Bruno Starz” was born broke and gentle and has been a breeze to train. He is double gentle, quieter than a librarian and rides around better than most horses twice his age. If you can get on him, you can ride him, and he will keep you safe and looking good doing it. This is a horse I would put my wife, mother and grandma on as he has never ever offered to buck a single time in his life and is consistently the same good boy we have come to know and love in our barn. He is a push style, more whoa than go type of ride with all the fun buttons and maneuvers that he executes calmly and efficiently. He has easy lead departures, simple changes, a big stop, backs on a light rein and is good in his spins. You can collect him up through his gaits and he will pack his head around nice and soft all day long. He has a comfortable, easy to sit trot, smooth upward and downward transitions and plenty of speed control. Bruno has been hauled to town and shown in the Ranch Riding and Versatility classes, has worked the cutting flag, tracked and sorted cattle and has been started in the breakaway roping all of which he took right to without any fuss. We have rode him all over outside from the open range to steep mountain terrain. He naturally places his feet with care in the rocks and over thick deadfall and stays balanced going up and down sketchy trails. He has the coolest, most laid back personality that God ever gave a horse and anyone who meets him is sure to fall in love. He does well stalled or turned out and keeps quiet and well mannered with the other horses. Both testicles are down and intact, he has never been collected or bred any mares. You can tie him right next to the girls without any fuss, sometimes we wonder if he knows he is a boy! 100% sound in every way with zero maintenance, vices or other undesirable issues/ailments. Bruno has always received the best of care and is up to date on vaccines, dental and deworming. 5 Panel clean. $25k
