Update: 2 puppies left! We have a truck likely going to Texas from California so could deliver for extra cost anywhere along the line.

We at Grounded Land and Livestock are excited to announce our dedicated working dogs Toes and Tank have recently welcomed a remarkable litter of Australian Kelpie puppies. We can’t wait to introduce them to you.

About the Parents:

Toes (Dam): Hailing from the robust Sagebrush Line, Toes is not only a powerhouse in the field but also one of the sweetest and most loyal dogs we’ve ever had. With a strong, free, upright, active, and straightforward working style. She has some eye when needed, but is not sticky and casts well. Toes can be gentle when she needs to but can stand her own clearing brush with onry cattle when needed. She can head and heel, fetch and drive and looks like she walked out of a crossfit gym. She flips tires in a weighted vest. Well...she doesn’t but she could.

Tank (Sire): Tank inherits his impressive qualities from his father, Frog from Moohollow Kennels. Tank’s strength, presence, and endurance make him an outstanding working dog. His intelligence, energy, and desire to work shine through, especially when faced with challenging situations. Tank also has an upright working style with free movement and some light eye. Tank arrives on the scene with a lot of power initially and he settles into a calmer working pace after about 15 minutes, where he is able to show his control and versatility. This translates to his extensive endurance hours into his field work, which is a high priority for us.

Team or Solo:

Both Tank and Toes work in our dog teams, but both are stand alone dogs with enough presence, freedom of movement and strength to move cattle or sheep. We also use both individually solo often depending on the nature of that day’s work, and they always meet the demand.

The Offspring:

The puppies from this litter should inherit the strength, endurance, intelligence, and work ethic that their parents have shown us. Priced at $750 each, they will come fully vaccinated and ready to join their new homes by the end of March at 8 weeks old. If desired we can work on getting them registered. You can request sex and if possible will do our best to match you up with that. However, after 8 weeks of getting to know them, we would like to understand the type of personality you are looking for and we will do our best to match you up with what we think is the right dog.

Prioritizing Working Environments:

Given the working heritage of Toes and Tank and their energy levels, priority will be given to folks providing a working environment. However, we also welcome inquiries from individuals with an extremely active lifestyle, as these puppies are bred for those who appreciate and understand the exercise needs of working dogs.
