Description:
Located in northwest Colorado right alongside the Little Snake River. The Ranch consists of approximately 9500 acres deeded and public, most of which is for grazing. 220 acres of land is flood irrigated for grass hay production. We are currently running 250 mother cows year round. All handling of the cattle is done with horses only because of the low stress and its the easiest transportation in the type of terrain that surrounds the area. We are looking for an all around individual that would work with the manager to perform all duties of the ranch. These Duties include but are not limited to:

-Irrigation (pivot, wheel line, gated pipe, ditches etc.)

-Fencing

-Haying

-Calving

-Livestock Care

-Infrastructure Maintenance

-Vehicle Maintenance

-Equipment operation (tractors, backhoes, haying equipment, 4-wheeler, and dump truck)



The person we are looking for must have some experience in ranch work and really understand what it means to do this type of work. There is housing with all utilities provided along with a ranch vehicle for transportation to and from work.
