Hello, my name is Elizabeth and I am looking into different ranching opportunities for my husband Warren and I as he works over the road and I have more time on my hands to help sift through the job pool.



We currently live in Minnesota and run a small herd of our own cattle here. Warren is a heavy equipment/ diesel mechanic and is employed as a field service technician for Terex. In addition to his experience as a mechanic Warren spent five years hauling livestock all over the nation and holds his CDL. He is experienced with winter hauling in the mountains and using chains. In addition to that he also has experience putting up hay, heavy equipment operation, welding, fencing, basic carpentry, and some experience repairing older farm machinery as well. He’s good with his hands and can fix or build about anything really.



I am a homemaker and take care of our young daughter and our cattle while Warren works over the road. We both have a strong desire to relocate and work full time in the ranching industry and have been searching for the right opportunity as we are really looking for a long term position.



To be transparent and forthcoming, Warren had not been on a horse in about 8 years since he worked at a larger ranch in high school until recently when he began a refresher program with a local hand. He is willing and eager to get caught up on that aspect of it and catches on very quickly it just hasn’t been something he has had to utilize in his line of work for a great while now or at our place being it’s a small herd. He will continue to work on getting caught up in the meantime. Our plan is to sell the cattle and invest in a couple good ranch horses and tack if an opportunity arises.



Currently we are searching in the Black Hills area of South Dakota and Wyoming as our first choice just for family reasons but we are also open to other areas of Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona, or possibly other states as well depending on the opportunity.
