Description:
"Spade" is a 2008 sorrel/roan gelding bred and raised by Goemmer Ranches of Battle Mountain Nevada. He is sired by "Cash N Miss Drip" and out of "Orphan Redwood,” he is registered but papers have been misplaced. He spent the majority of his life making a living on several big old time Nevada ranches, before making his home in California. Spade gets along great with other horses, good to haul and stands excellent for the farrier. He has been used exclusively on the ranch to brand, doctor, sort and move cows. Excellent in all terrains whether it is crossing irrigation ditches/marshes, steep rocky forest turnouts, rugged desert or meadows, he handles it all with ease. Spade has been ridden by a variety of riders whose skill levels vary and always takes care of them. He has been hauled to numerous ranch rodeos and has had lots won on him, also been started on the heel side and shows potential there. Stays quiet in all situations and is the same horse after being laid off for extended periods of time. Great all around gelding that will be an asset where ever he goes.
